These providers can treat common colds, perform physicals, or assess if you need to see a specialist for further evaluation. Primary care serve as the point person in our medical system. They are valuable resources for you to get the treatment you need at an affordable cost, therefore, understanding and using the services available at the primary care provider’s office will help you reduce large medical bills and additional financial stress.
Triage system: Scheduled appointments to meet with the primary care physician.
When to go to Primary Care:
Routine physical, follow-ups, prescription refills
Administer Vaccinations and Immunizations
Manage of Chronic illnesses (DM, HTN, CKD, etc)
Mental Health Concerns
Referrals for specialists
