Senior meal plans and programs
As we age, our body become more sensitive with the foods we eat in addition to diet restrictions due to chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or high cholesterol. Part of our role as family carers is preparing nutritious meals for our love ones, but that task can be quite time consuming when we have our own families and kids to care for. In addition, many adults experience social isolation as they age for various reasons such as losing their partners, being homebound, or not having any families near them. One way to address both of these needs without adding additional pressure to your plate as a caregiver is research nutrition programs near you for assistance.
